Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2025

Agreement

By using Slortfolio you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may change these terms; we will post updates here. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.

The service

Slortfolio lets customers find and book appointments with barbers, salons and other service providers. Providers can manage their schedule, services and payments. We provide the platform only; we are not a party to the booking between you and the provider or customer.

Your account

You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep your account secure. You are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Break any law or encourage others to do so
  • Impersonate anyone or misrepresent your identity or business
  • Harass, abuse or harm others or use the service for spam
  • Try to hack, overload or disrupt the service or other users
  • Scrape or copy data from the service without permission

We can suspend or close your account if you break these rules.

Bookings and payments

Bookings are between the customer and the provider. Cancellation and refund rules are set by the provider or shown at the time of booking. We may take a fee for use of the platform; that will be shown before you pay. Card payments are processed by our payment partner; their terms also apply to the payment.

Providers

If you list your business on Slortfolio you are responsible for your services, pricing, availability and compliance with laws (e.g. tax, licensing). You must keep your profile and bank details correct so we can pay you. We may verify your identity and business details.

Intellectual property

Slortfolio and its branding, design and content are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy or use them without permission. You keep ownership of content you upload (e.g. profile photos); you give us a licence to use it to run the service.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted. We are not liable for what providers or customers do, or for bookings that go wrong, except where the law says we must be.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data or business. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or one hundred pounds, if greater).
